"Bright golden-tinged yellow. Fresh floral aromas and flavors of grapefruit, mango and lemon curd. Finishes stony and brisk, displaying a spicy citrus peel character. Finishes long, with a repeating floral presence. Better on the floral, refined nose than on the slightly less intense palate, but this is a delightful Gewürz that will win many fans. Catherine told me they did a slightly more aggressive green harvest (in early September) than usual and I think it shows in a better, more balanced wine than the 2015."
