Dried and dark berries, cinnamon rolls, lavender honey and hints of mushroom and bark. A round, medium-bodied palate with silky tannins, rendering a velvety texture with a flavorful, chocolatey finish. Bittersweet and slightly warming at the end. Not as deep as you would expect for an Amarone, but it has a nice, traditional feel with more savoriness than fruit and depth. Satisfying nonetheless.
