A plush red, with steeped black cherry and black fig fruit flavors enriched by notes of Earl Grey tea, dark chocolate, iron and smoke. Rich and full-bodied, but well-knit and compact today. Let this open in the glass or cellar in the short term. Lingering, spiced finish. Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Best from 2025 through 2033. 1,000 cases made, 150 cases imported.

Lots of chocolate-coated dried cherry here, as well as a hint of green walnut. Full-to medium-bodied with very fine, lightly firm tannins and a long finish that introduces a bitter orange-peel note. Lots going on in a relatively compact wine. Allow it another year or two to expand and mellow. Best after 2023.
