Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"
Veteran winemaker Ric Forman, who is celebrating his 50th vintage in 2016 (which is astonishing), has turned out one of his riper and richer Chardonnays in memory. The 2015 Chardonnay (totally non-malolactic) offers up 13.8% natural alcohol, which is probably slightly more than Forman prefers. Tangerine, nectarine, white currant and quince are all present in this medium to full-bodied, fresh, lively style. I have never had much luck with these wines aging, but they are delicious young, and the oak is always pushed way to the background. Drink this over the next 2-3 years."
93 Antonio Galloni - Vinous
"Forman 2015 Chardonnay is a bit creamier and more voluptuous than it usually is. Even so, the flavors are bright and precise throughout. Lemon confit, flowers, chamomile and white pepper are all nicely pushed forward. The 2015 is a rare wine that won't require much cellaring."
