"Outstanding. Sweet Spot. Vincent Dureuil told me that 2014 "produced superb wines in both colors. The growing season was relatively easy and while I know some producers had difficulties with the Suzukii flies, here in Rully we had no particular problems, perhaps because we have so much chardonnay planted which doesn't seem to interest them. Yields were better than those we realized in 2013 with around 40 hl/ha in white and 38 hl/ha in red. Neither fermentation presented any problem and overall, the wines can accurately be described as classic and in both colors. I believe that for those who enjoy older wines that 2014 would be a great candidate for extended cellaring." Dureuil continues to fashion some of the very best wines in the Côte Chalonnaise and once again I was seriously impressed by the quality he has achieved. Given how inexpensive the wines are in most markets I highly recommend them to you for both quality and value. Dureuil said that his 2014 whites were bottled in February, 2016."
