About the Winemaker: Abe Schoener
"Former 9 year philosophy professor at St. John University, Abe turned to educate himself on viticulture. Abe began Interning at Stag’s Leap and soon met John Kongsgaard and began making wine under his wing at Luna Vineyards in 1999.

"Now Abe, with his Scholium project brand also consults and makes wine for The Red Hook Winery.
