90David Schildknecht - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"From two vineyards south of the village, Deux Montille's 2007 Auxey-Duresses adopts themes of brine and chalk beginning already with the nose. In the mouth this is striking in its combination of textural richness and brightness and its impression of fresh oyster liquor. Suggestions of apricot with the bitterness of its kernel and invigoration of its skin provide this wine something to talk about other than things mineral. Penetrating, refreshing, and startling, this us bound to divide taster's opinions, but really should be experienced. I'm betting it will remain fascinating and refreshing for at least 4-5 years."
