"Intense red with violet hues. Aromas of pepper, black plums, toast and vanilla. Soft body, harmonious with great balance and persistence. The wine is mechanically harvested in April. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 months in French oak, resulting in a wine with wonderful soft tannins and a medium body. A harmonious wine with a good finish. Frontera Carmenere is excellent with fresh vegetable dishes, chicken, duck, lamb and pork." -Winery Notes
