About

Ratings:

93

60-year-old vines grown on a north-facing slope made up of clay limestone and pebbles at 250m altitude provide the fruit for this wine. Aged for 12 months in demi-muids and used barriques, it's bottled without fining or filtration. Gently resinous scents with juniper and oregano lead to a precise, linear palate with gently serrated, snappy tannins and a long, mineral finish. Great precision and freshness.

92 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

From a single parcel of 65-year-old vines, the 2017 Cairanne Col du Debat features subtle cinnamon and clove notes on the nose. It's full-bodied, rich and velvety, with plenty of raspberry and cherry fruit, plus attractive resiny notes of rosemary and pine on the long finish.

92 Wine Spectator

Alluring, with velvety waves of cassis and raspberry paste cruising through, flecked with anise and red tea. A subtle mineral edge lingers prettily. Drink now through 2025. 500 cases made, 56 cases imported.
