Staying true to our cool climate roots, we crafted this wine with the intent of marrying the opulence "Dark" of Napa Valley Cabernet with the delicate "Light" winemaking philosophy that has become our signature. The result is dense, balanced Cabernet that has been tamed over 24 months in French oak. This St. Helena Cab blows out of the gate with pipe and cigar tobacco giving way to copious amounts of cedar and tinder box. Super soft and sexy. High toned and brooding at the same time. Vanilla husk, Caribbean rum, and a touch of sweet molasses.
