"The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes all from Red Mountain and was fermented all in concrete with the idea of a soft, gentle extraction to manage the Red Mountain tannins. Aged 19 months in 70% new French oak, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a beautiful perfume of crème de cassis, blackberries, crushed rocks, and sappy green herbs. With medium to full-bodied richness, subtle background oak, and ripe yet present structure, it’s a brilliant Cabernet that’s going to benefit from short-term cellaring and keep for 15+ years."
