"Bright, dark ruby-red. The nose combines a very ripe raspberry aroma, notes of licorice and mocha, and a faint herbal element. Then fleshy and glossy on the palate, with sweet blackberry and cassis flavors framed and enlivened by nicely integrated acidity. This rather suave wine finishes with smooth tannins, a hint of chocolatey oak and very good length. (14.1% alcohol)"
