"Coming from the back end of the estate In The Rocks Vineyard, which does have as many of the rolled stones in the soil, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon The Classic offers a savory, meaty, even bloody style right out of the gate; yet it opens up beautifully with time in the glass, showing more spice, toasted bread, chocolate and ripe dark fruits. Full-bodied, concentrated and with sweet tannin, it’s a gorgeous Cabernet that will have two decades of longevity."
"Sourced from their In the Rocks vineyards which is the source of their famed Syrahs. Hand-harvested, destemmed, and crushed. Fermented with regular pump-overs and transferred to French oak (50% new, 50% neutral) for 22 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered and aged an additional 6 months before release. 275 cs produced." -Importer
