About

"The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a sumptuous, forward Yountville Cabernet endowed with terrific depth. Black cherry, mocha, new leather and licorice are all fused together in a supple, juicy Cabernet that offers tons of near to medium-term appeal. Time in the glass brings out the wine's freshness and nuance, but this remains a fairly overt, open-knit style. The 2014 is sure to find many admirers, as it is virtually impossible to resist. "

92 Wine Spectator

"Centered on a tight, structured mix of dark berry, currant, licorice and spicy, cedary oak that casts touches of mocha and herb. Intense without being weighty, this is balanced, persistent and well done. Drink now through 2030. 1,013 cases made."

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Malbec and Petit Verdot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon from Keever Vineyards is a rounded, sexy wine that boasts a deep purple color as well as terrific notes of cedary spice, black currants, chocolate and hints of licorice. Raised in 70% new French oak, it has tons of fruit, ripe, polished tannin, and a great finish. Drink it anytime over the coming 10-15 years.

Product Description:

"Bright purple aromas of boysenberry, mulberry, and warm summer briars invite a closer look at this fully ripe Cabernet. Plush and satiny at entry, the purple fruit flavors are enveloped in mocha, vanilla and warm spice tones in the mid-palate, where the concentration of texture and the fine-grained tannins combine to create a palate impression of sweet and savory tones. At the finish, the slightly softer acidity leaves an impression of juicy baked plums and warm berries." - Winery
