With the vines close to 20 years in age, they've had the chance to dig deep in the rocky soils, and are not only producing deep, dark fruit character, but great notes of coffee, cocoa, and black olives, and a solid back bone of great structure too. This was one of only a handful of wines we went back to taste several times....it was that good."
