"In the glass, this wine emits bright hues of red ruby and red garnet. The nose is bright and youthful, with evidence of raspberry and red currant. The opening palate is invitingly fresh, with plenty of ripe red cherry, cassis and plum undertones. The mid palate stays bright red fruit forward with moderate acid and soft, playful tannins. Approaching the close, you can start to pickup more evidence of oak, more plum and black cherry. Slight minerality and red pepper spice linger over red berries and a medium finish."

"The Beelgara Cabernet Merlot blend is medium bodied while both bright and youthful. It's an Aussie wine, and I've found that both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from this particular area tends to emit big ripe red fruit flavors throughout the palate. This Cabernet Merlot maintains 13% ABV and has been aged in French oak. Chill to around 61 degrees fahrenheit, and be sure to drink it within 3 years of purchase.
