"The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Phaedrus includes 10% Cabernet Franc, 9% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot in the blend. Ripe dark fruit, licorice, smoke and mocha flow from this textured, generous Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2008 shows gorgeous persistence all the way through to the rich, inviting finish. It is a beautiful wine all around. I find the Phaedrus more balanced and harmonious than the Cabernet Franc. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2018."
