Product Description:

350 meters up the hillside above the tiny hamlet of Montà is where the Arneis vines of this single cru of 'Le Rive del Bricco' are planted in sand/limestone soils. These soils are crucial to Arneis as they are higher in pH (acidity) and help the wines from becoming "flabby", as other Arneis tend to be. The Almondos are masters of managing their vineyards here, and it truly shines through in this bottling. Berries are hand selected for this cuvee, which is without a doubt the best Arneis I've ever tasted. Simply jaw-dropping.

Fresh flower shop and a slight nuttiness on the nose, followed by an absolute explosion of flavors on the palate: citrus (lemon, red grapefruit) and tropical fruits mingle perfectly with white stone fruit notes (peach, nectarine) and even pear. The finish is relentlessly long, with a backbone of outstanding minerality and perfectly aligned - and grossly invigorating - acidity.
