"Carefully selected old vine 60% Albariño and 40% Godello from calcareous slate soils. José Manuel Moure’s father was the first to bring Albariño to the area 40 years ago. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in the same new French acacia barrels, which imparts elegance and finesse and helps to enhance the unique characteristics of these varieties, followed by batonage over lees for five months. Natural clarification without cold stabilization leaving the wine to stand over time. Straw yellow color. Floral and exotic orchard fruit nose of apricots, pears and ginger with a rich palate of ripe peach, apples, wild flowers, orange zest and creamy marzipan and fresh mint. Midweight, beautifully balanced between acidity, fruit and oak with wonderful minerality, rounded and elegant with persistent finish." -- Winery
