"An attractively fresh, pretty and restrained nose with a mix of Granny Smith apples, floral, citrus, pear and distinct yeast scents precedes vibrant and lively flavors that possess first-rate intensity, the sensation of which is reinforced by the forceful mousse before culminating in a bone dry, mouth coating and moderately austere finish. This is an extra brut which is in fact exceptionally dry yet as my note suggests not nearly as austere as many examples of the genre. This could be enjoyed now but for my taste I would leave it in the cellar for a few more years first."
