Silky and concentrated, with terrific lift and noble rusticity to its rich, sharply delineated red fruit flavors. Really saturates the entire mouth without leaving any impression of weight. The tannins are completely enrobed by the wine's velvety texture. This impeccably balanced wine leaves the taste buds vibrating. Boasts the class and texture of a grand cru. I recently opened a bottle of the 1993 and the family resemblance was clear. But the 2010 boasts suaver tannins and greater refinement."
