"(75% roussanne and 25% viognier, made with 20 days of skin contact): Pale gold. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes fresh pear, nectarine and citrus fruits, with suave floral notes and a hint of fresh ginger. Deep in pit fruit and floral flavor but lithe and precise, with excellent clarity and stony cut. Finishes firm and dry, with a lingering note of candied citrus zest. This got a tiny bit of oak--"about 5%," according to Jensen, and everything else was done in concrete."

"A blend of 75% Roussanne and 25% Viognier that was fermented and aged in concrete, the 2010 Booker Vineyard White is decidedly lean and racy by Eric‟s standards and delivers a mineral-laced aromas of pear, spring flowers, and citrus rind to go with a steely, energetic, medium-bodied palate. Despite the vibrant acidity, this builds in richness through the mid-palate, and has outstanding length. Enjoy bottles over the coming 3-4 years."

"Readers will find a quirky and eccentric yet beautiful wine in the 2010 White, a Roussanne/ Viognier blend. Honey, flowers, petrol, smoke and mint are some of the many nuances that flow from the glass. The 2010 impresses for its textured intensity and fabulous overall balance. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015."
