Jay Miller - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2007 Red Mountain Red Wine is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, and 13% Cabernet Franc aged for 24 months in 50% new French oak. Medium purple in color, it displays a nose of pain grille, pencil lead, Asian spices, incense, black currant, and blackberry. Full-bodied on the palate it has layered fruit, a plush palate feel, plenty of ripe tannin, savory flavors, and 5-7 years of aging potential. This backstrapping offering has a drinking window extending from 2015 to 2032."
