"The 2008 Ciel du Cheval Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) spent 24 months in 50% new French and American oak. The nose is a touch reticent but with swirling offers up toasty black fruit aromas. In the glass it reveals plenty of structure balanced by layers of savory fruit, spice notes, and a hint of balsamic. Give it 4-5 years of cellaring and drink it from 2015 to 2028+."
