WINEMAKING:
"The Riesling Eiswein was harvested manually in a very cold night. The sweet, frozen grapes were pressed over 18 hours. While the whole ice stayed in the press, only few concentrated most was extracted. The slow fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and was followed by maturation in stainless steel tanks for 8 months. The aim of this vinification style is to show the natural individuality of the vines, soil, climate and vintage." -Importer

The shoots are thinned out at least 4 times a year and also the amount of grapes is reduced by hand to guarantee best quality. Brilliant gold-yellow with green reflections. Fully ripe vineyard peach and delicate grapefruit zest on the nose. Precise and nicely delineated, with refreshing acidity balancing the wine’s creamy, honeyed sweetness. An ice wine with a seductive core of exotic fruit. Harmonious and very long on the finish." -Importer
