Twizzler is a candy with some pretty obscure flavors. Strawberry and cherry (easy to confuse, but a seasoned vet will know the difference) stay at the forefront, while more obscure iterations like watermelon, lemon, and “rainbow” (whatever that means) get pushed to the side. There is even a chocolate flavor. Yes, chocolate in a gummy form. I think it is safe to say that Twizzler is pushing some serious boundaries, and we like that.

But for today’s wine, the 2012 Laetitia Pinot Noir, we will be concentrating on those delicious red berries that we mentioned are the most popular. Some of the immediate flavors you’ll get from this wine are that of red fruits, specifically cherries. Following that you’ll notice cinnamon and even cola. Do you see what’s happening with these flavors? We’ll spell it out for you: this wine tastes like Mr. Pibb. No joke. With the Twizzlers, it’s a match made in heaven. As the great Andy Samberg once said, “Mr. Pibb and Red Vines equals CRAZY DELICIOUS.”

I am one step away from telling you to stick it in the wine and use it like a straw. Be we won’t go there, because that’s just wrong.
