For kids, it's the holiday that keeps giving.
For parents, it sometimes feels like the holiday that never ends!

Make the next five nights of Hanukkah festive and bright with these brilliant wine pairings.

For latkes, you can't go wrong with sparkling wine. When you break it down, latkes are not too different from French fries. Though in a different form, they are still potatoes fried in oil. So many sommeliers (wine professionals) admit that their not-so-secret pairing pleasure is Champagne and French fries. For your latke and sparkling wine pairing, try a classic Champagne like Taittinger. For a larger or thirstier crowd, go with a bright and bubbly prosecco

For jelly doughnutskeep those bubbles to cut through the fat and move the sweetness up a couple of notches. Fried foods love bubbles and vice versa. To highlight the fresh and fruity filling of sufganiyot, a red-fruit driven sparkling Gamay would be gorgeous. Especially if those treats happen to be strawberry or raspberry-jelly filled!

For brisket dinner, Syrah- and Grenache-based red blends are tried and true classics. From France, Cotes du Rhone or a similar blend from the Rousillon would be spot on.

Want something New World? This Australian Shiraz-Cabernet blend is precisely the spicy wine a brisket dinner needs. For a truly Maccabean celebration, try an Israeli Syrah blend. If you haven't had an Israeli wine for years, it's about time to try one again.

For that eighth night gift, something that really impresses, get the red wine lover a bottle of Luce, Italian for "light". This 94-point iconic SuperTuscan will make the red wine drinker's eyes light up as bright as a fully lit Menorah.

We hope you have a happy and healthy holiday, filled with miracles great and small.
