The Whisky Advocate
An elegant whisky with aromas of rich caramel, vanilla wafer, fresh-baked cookies, ripe banana, pear, and a hint of peppermint ice cream. There’s earthy smoke, but it’s only slightly peaty. The palate takes us on a beautiful journey, with Lotus Biscoff, caramel, pepper, clove, and caramelized apple, then whiffs of smoke hide behind the spices. Smooth and mouth-coating, ending with darker fruits, toffee, sultana, malt, vanilla pod, chocolate wafers, and cappuccino. (144 bottles for the U.S.)
