Spanish oak sherry cask finishing gives this a nose of dark sherry, salty sea air, raisin, stewed fruit, treacle, and walnut, with a hint of soy sauce. As it spreads across the tongue, it spills its bounty of maple syrup, pecan, and banoffee pie flavors, adding peppercorn, clove, baked plum pudding, cacao, vanilla, and salted caramel with delightful ease. The finish is dry, with spices and dark chocolate.
