Marieke Foenegreek Gouda is a small batch cheese produced at the Holland Family Farm in Thorpe, Wisconsin. Its very unique maple syrup flavor makes it a refreshing suprise on your cheese plate. This gouda is dotted with seeds native to Holland which yeild the nutty, sweet flavor. While it is slightly sweet, it can be paired with a variety of things such as white burgundy, chardonnay which should have caramel notes, or fuller fruity reds such as cabernets or zinfandels. Some have even paired it with rum!
