Stonehedge “Barrel Fermented”
Chardonnay is produced
from grapes grown in some of California’s
finest vineyards — primarily
in Santa Lucia Highlands. The wine
exhibits juicy tropical pineapple, nectarine
and ripe apricot flavors finishing
off with subtle honey-hazelnut
notes and undertones of toasty vanilla
oak. As always, the wine is 100%
fermented in small American oak barrels.
But, it is barrel aged for a very
limited time, allowing full expression
of its fruit character. Its buttery
notes are elegantly balanced with
perfect acidity, making it a great
chardonnay for all occasions. -winery
