"Community Tasting Notes (average 87.3 pts. in 4 notes) on Cellar Tracker as of March 27th, 2009 Tasted by MPartridge on 2/1/2008 & rated 88 points: (206 views) Tasted by 10izguy on 1/20/2008: very pleasant wine, easy to drink with none of the big "terroir" that the French take great pride in. Great value, I am going to pick up a few more bottles. (388 views) Tasted by Greg_O on 1/9/2008 & rated 87 points: Very heavy vanilla oak on the nose. Very round mouthfeel, medium acidity, cherry and licorice but fruit comes off almost fake. Very bitter cherry, tannic, and somewhat disjointed finish. Did not pick this out as a Bordeaux in a blind tasting. (471 views) Tasted by lkwg on 1/6/2008 & rated 87 points: Decanted for 1.5 Hours and served. Dark purple in color. Strong nose of ripe plums and a dark fruit core with some spice, cola and a hint of alcohol. Very enticing nose. In the mouth, this is surprisingly thin; a medium bodied wine with black pepper and oak. Tannins are very gripping. Overall, a nice package except the rather hollow mid-palate. (518 views)"
