"The top cuvee is the 2006 Crozes-Hermitage Le Clos. This sensational, limited production offering is one of the finest wines of the appellation. A dense purple color is accompanied by a subtle barrique character that gives the wine a smoky, meaty component intertwined with creme de cassis, olive, and graphite notes. It is a full-bodied, dense, chewy, concentrated, pure red with moderately sweet tannins and good acidity."
