Bobby Shifrin has been a long mainstay at The Wine Library and has the longest run with 20+ years. Bobby is a great man and we wanted to make a wine in tribute of him. When Wine Library was offered this great juice and we tasted it, I just knew that the fruit and terroir was reminiscent of Bobby. You see even though Bobby is now in his forties he maybe the biggest twenty year old in the place. His youthful energy and golden heart is a prize we are all lucky to be part of and sure he gets snippy at times but that's part of his charm. This Zinfandel does the same, it has youthful fruit but has a nice peppery side to it that you get used to and enjoy very quickly.
