"Brilliant ruby-violet color. This vintage of Coastal Cabernet Sauvignon promises much, and delivers! The aromas are redolent of black plum and dark cherry, with licorice and dark chocolate overtones. On the palate the wine is weighty yet supple, with loads of ripe berry flavors and hints of dark chocolate, black pepper and dried herbs like anise. Medium-full in body, it finishes with some spicy vanilla-oak and moderate tannins. Ripe, easy to drink yet well structured, this will be an ideal wine with richer meat dishes, full-flavored pastas, and grilled chicken teriyaki. Drink within four years of vintage." = BV Winery
