"The name Massifitti describes the composition of the volcanic soil of this area which is particularly rich in large compact basaltic rocks. The vineyard was planted in 2006 using clones of old Trebbiano di Soave vines that were selected in collaboration with the laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Milan and Professor Attilio Scienza as part of our project to recover this ancient variety. Over the years we have increased the company surface dedicated to Trebbiano di Soave by creating new vineyards in different parts of the hill for a total extension of about 6 hectares." -WINERY
