Wine Spectator:

"Expressive floral and spice notes frame black cherry and blackberry fruit in this graceful red. Polished tannins impart structure while the overall balance and harmony keep this seamless through the fresh finish. Drink now through 2022. 2,500 cases made."

Guía Peñín:

"Appearance: Burgundy red, maroon rim. Bright.
Nose: Intense aromas, spices, cinnamon, crystallized red fruit.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, silky, elegant, structured entry on the palate. Lingering aftertaste."

Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

"The 2012 Tabula is produced with grapes from the villages of La Horra, Roa and La Aguilera. It shows a nice and fresh nose mixing wild berries, spices, smoke and something mineral. The balanced palate is medium-bodied with very good freshness and fine tannins making it easy to drink. A textbook Ribera. 25,000 bottle produced." Reviewed October 2015.

Product Description:

"Located in Olivares del Duero, the winery has 24 hectares (60 acres) of vines, that offer all the natural and technical requirements for the production of high quality, modern-style wines with a good expression of the vineyard. The bunches are sorted on a sorting table. After de-stemming, the berries are sorted on a second sorting table. A cold soak of 4 days. Alcoholic fermentation in 50 hl and 100 hl French oak vats. Malo-lactic fermentation in French oak barrels.

Deep cherry-red colour. Aromas of ripe fruit, spices and hints of liquorice. Soft, fresh tannins, full and lingering." -Winery
