"The 2010 La Cueva de Contador was cropped between the October 8 and 11 from six parcels (mainly “La Canoca,” which constitutes 46% of the blend). It has a vibrant bouquet of blueberries and blackberry leaf, tinged with a saline/brine scent. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannins, plush dark cherry and cassis fruit over-layered by sensual creamy oak that lends an alluring silkiness to the finish, which glides across the mouth. In a word – sexy. Drink 2015-2025. "

"Brilliant ruby. Deep, powerfully scented bouquet of blackberry and boysenberry preserves, cola, licorice and vanilla. Lush and creamy, offering sweet dark berry preserve and cherry-cola flavors, with hints of rose pastille and mocha adding complexity. Velvety tannins shape the powerful fruit and carry through a long, oak-spiced finish."
