About

Product Description:

Saint Joseph, the emblematic appellation of the Côtes du Rhône region is now on the D-Vine menu. Every terroir has its own history… Formerly known as the "Wine of Mallows," the Jesuits are the ones who gave it its current name in the seventeenth century. Time goes by but the tradition continues, the registered designation of origin was created on June 15, 1956! The Syrah, a unique red grape variety of the Saint Joseph appellation, gives the wine a beautiful and fairly dense garnet or burlat color. Now for the tasting : The nose is clear and very fruity. The flavors of black cherries, blueberries and even blackberries are fully expressed at first before giving way to peppery aromas. In the mouth, the tannins are present but without any hardness.
