"A unique blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache Blanc that spent 18 months in 25% new French oak, the 2013 The Unnamed Syrah is a medium to full-bodied, elegant effort (like all of the 2013s here) that has lots of kirsch, iron, licorice and dried underbrush in a silky, elegant, slightly mid-weight package. It’s taking freshness and elegance to the extreme, yet is certainly an outstanding wine that has plenty to love. Drink it over the coming 8-10 years."
90 Wine Spectator
" Soft and generous, letting the cherry, raspberry and pomegranate flavors float on an open-textured frame, finishing with restraint. Drink now through 2020. 525 cases made."
