"A classic Hermitage that seems geared for more near term consumption, the inky-colored 2013 Hermitage Terres d’Arce has lots of black and blue fruits, pen ink, crushed rock and violet characteristics in a medium to full-bodied, fresh and elegant package. It doesn’t have much back-end depth, but its tannin is ripe and polished, it’s nicely balanced and I suspect will evolve gracefully for at least a decade."
