"Bright purple. Deeply pitched scents of ripe blackberry and violet, with a suggestion of licorice emerging slowly. On the palate, intense black and blue fruit flavors are underscored and lifted by a smoky mineral quality and a hint of cracked pepper. Shows very good energy and thrust on the finish, with the floral and mineral notes echoing."
