"Plummy, juicy fruit, crisp acidity and a crunch of chalky phenolics. You could sum the wine up in a sentence like that - but it evolves over a day or so and shows more in the glass over an hour too. At first shy, a touch more briary and leafy, then brightness of fruit, plum-skins, sour/sweetness and gently candied fruit, comes to the fore. It’s easy to drink, no doubt, but doesn’t tilt into the simple spectrum or ripe fruit overload, retaining its cooler, medium bodied feel the whole way. Good drinking." Reviewed March 2013

"It’s a tiny bit minty, with a touch of eucalypt character, as well as taut berry fruits. Good definition and freshness. " October 2012

"Winemaker, Erinn Klein and co-founder, Janet Klein create Ngeringa wines in soil that has been nurtured with great care. Originally part of the world-renowned Jurlique herb farm, this land has been certified biodynamic for more than 20 years.
