Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
"Plummy, juicy fruit, crisp acidity and a crunch of chalky phenolics. You could sum the wine up in a sentence like that - but it evolves over a day or so and shows more in the glass over an hour too. At first shy, a touch more briary and leafy, then brightness of fruit, plum-skins, sour/sweetness and gently candied fruit, comes to the fore. It’s easy to drink, no doubt, but doesn’t tilt into the simple spectrum or ripe fruit overload, retaining its cooler, medium bodied feel the whole way. Good drinking." Reviewed March 2013

"It’s a tiny bit minty, with a touch of eucalypt character, as well as taut berry fruits. Good definition and freshness. " October 2012
