"El Puerto de Santa María is bordered to the south by the Río Guadalete and to the west by the Atlantic Ocean. This town is probably most famous for being the port from which Columbus began his second journey to the Americas. It forms the southernmost corner of the sherry triangle and it enjoys mild weather for the majority of the year. This Fino was matured at Bodega del Drago, which is located less than one mile from La Puntilla beach. It was drawn from one butt out of a solera of 347 and was bottled without filtration." -Winery
