Product Description:
From the Winemakers' Website: This brilliantly clear, pale-straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc is fresh, bright, & crisp. The wine opens with complex aromas of lime zest, Meyer lemon, pink grapefruit, lemongrass, freshly cut hay, honeysuckle, & a hint of wet stone. Fresh & forward, zesty flavors of grapefruit & citrus with subtle herbal notes meld beautifully with a vivid acidity. Fresh, full, & vibrant, the finish is long & lingering with lemongrass & mineral. 97% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Sémillon, 1% Viognier. Fruit for this 2018 Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc comes primarily from Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley. We chose other lots from similarly prestigious Sonoma County appellations. Fruit from the warmer Dry Creek Valley & Knights Valley contributes tropical & stone fruit flavors, along with a silky texture. The cooler Russian River Valley lent the wine grapefruit, lime, & mineral characteristics as well as a bright, zingy acid component.
