2014 Andrew Rich Sauvignon Blanc Croft Vineyard Willamette Vineyard
grass, gooseberry, grapefruit, lime, melon, citrus, mineral and flint
apple, pear, kiwi, citrus, stone, grapefruit and melon
"The nose explodes with aromas of passion fruit and gooseberry. The palate is rich (but never ponderous), owing not just to the ripeness of the vintage but to extended time on the lees, thanks to a pokey fermentation. Bottled later than usual, the wine is just now (September 2013) coming together, and makes a lovely aperitif or a superb accompaniment to vegetable dishes and lighter meats." -Winery
"Andrew Rich does an especially good job with Sauvignon Blanc and his rendition has long been a reference point for Sauvignon in Oregon for many people, this critic included." Josh Raynolds. January 2017. Oregon: Beyond Pinot Noir. Vinous Media.
