"Aromas of scorched earth, leather and underbrush mingle with whiffs of cedar and fruitcake on this big, bold red. While it reflects the heat of the scorching vintage, it also has charm and polish, delivering savory flavors of fleshy black cherry, tobacco, star anise and hints of cranberry framed in taut, fine-grained tannins. Drink through 2029. -KO"

"A dense and layered red yet remains relatively agile with a firm layer of tannins that fills the palate. It’s full-bodied but not too heavy. Plenty of black cherry and mushroom character with some bark. This should come together nicely in two or three years. Drink after 2023."
