Product Description:
"Classic dusty earth and red fruit on the nose, with black olives and hay, giving way to a deep red wine, certainly Umbrian, with a little grip to start, dancing between rustic and polished all in the first moments. As the wine opens, a clear lead is taken by the sanguine Sangiovese (60%) with nice support from the structural Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and texture-enhancing Merlot (20%).
In the final assessment, it's a very balanced wine, true to place, with good ripe and red dusty fruit; tannins born solely from the skin contact. With no oak in play on this one, and two years in the bottle aging, all integrates well on the palate, thus the bottle does well on most dinner tables, be they serving spaghetti and meatballs, a pizza, or lamb chops to pair. Pretty all purpose vino Rosso from Todi." -Importer
