The 2022 Gun Metal Riesling is so austere and dry that it crests ungiving and moves toward composed. Poised, structured and tight, it's thrilling. The acidity that courses through the fruit is briny and refreshing, and the fruit, although given all the above descriptors, is lingering, long and lithe. An excellent wine. One for now or for the far future.
94 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
A bold and expressive Eden Valley dry riesling with great lime, blood orange and grapefruit aromas. Impressive structure and bone dry on the ample palate, but also very clean and polished. This has the kind of depth and clarity we expect from this category. Pristine finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
