Balanced and harmonious array of yellow Delicious apple, Bosch pear and Meyer lemon with a hint of peach and apricot with a clean finish. 35 year old Kerner planted to loam and clay soils. Hand harvested and sorted. Natural yeast fermentation in stainless steel. 13 g/l residual sugar. Kerner is a crossbreed of Trollinger and Riesling, developed in 1969 in Württemberg and named after a local poet, Justinius Kerner. Comparable with Riesling, it can grow in sites with less favorable conditions and guarantees a higher yield.
